The SP-01 family of road biking saddles debuted in 2017, the same year Selle Italia celebrated its 120th anniversary - a perfect illustration of the companys ceaseless pursuit of excellence. Taking inspiration from the automotive world, futuristic and lightweight Selle Italia SP-01 saddles feature dynamic Suspension Link Movement, wherein the two halves of the saddle are separated and flex independently of one another. This innovative design results in exceptional comfort and beautiful aesthetics. There are ten saddles in the SP-01 collection. The Selle Italia SP-01 Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow saddle has a compact shape and a blunt, agile, and elegantly sculpted design. After the SP-01 Tekno, it is the lightest of all SP-01 saddles, weighing 160 grams. It has premium carbon-ceramic rails and minimal padding between its shell and Fibra-Tek microfiber cover. In Selle Italia nomenclature, Boost means the saddle is short nosed compared to traditional saddles, a modification that improves pedaling ergonomics, rider maneuverability, comfort, and performance. The SP-01 Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow has a large central Superflow cut-out to relieve perineal pressure and is offered in two sizes: idmatch S3 and L3.
